Este avance, desarrollado en colaboraci\u00f3n por un consorcio de institutos europeos y asi\u00e1ticos, promete duplicar la vida \u00fatil de los dispositivos electr\u00f3nicos mediante la implementaci\u00f3n de una red de microc\u00e1psulas conductoras dentro de los circuitos impresos que se liberan y sellan fracturas ante el desgaste microsc\u00f3pico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"13\">La innovaci\u00f3n utiliza una matriz de nanotubos de carbono dopados con metales l\u00edquidos de bajo punto de fusi\u00f3n. Cuando un circuito sufre una microfisura \u2014la causa principal de fallo en smartphones y port\u00e1tiles tras a\u00f1os de uso\u2014, la tensi\u00f3n mec\u00e1nica rompe las microc\u00e1psulas, liberando el metal l\u00edquido que fluye hacia la fractura y restablece la conductividad el\u00e9ctrica casi instant\u00e1neamente.
